Surf's Up!

April 1st is Russell's birthday. No fooling.

I work with Russell. He knows everything about plants. He knows all kinds of stuff about dirt. Russell loves to surf. He has surfed in some awesome spots in the WORLD! Since he loves surfing so much, I made him this birthday card with a surfing theme.

All stamps are Memory Box except the wave, which is justjohanna. Flip flop paper is Memory Box, too. It has blue and green flip flops on the back. The palm tree is all one stamp, but I stamped the fronds on green Prism paper and the trunks on brown Prism paper and then cut them out and ran them through my X adhesive thingy. The penguin and surfboard are colored with Prismas. The brown sand part of the card is 80 grit sandpaper. It gives the card a little bit of interest and a bit of a manly feel.
