Bookmark Card

If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm a copier. No, not like Xerox or Minolta, but a CASE'er. That means I Copy And Share Everything. I was visiting Cathy's site today and she put up a card that I really like. It's a bookmark card. She made the bookmark and put little magnetic strips on the bottom. You know the ones that were so popular awhile back? I love those, so I decided I was going to make one for a friend who's having a birthday TODAY. Happy birthday, Pam!!

I kind of knew what image I wanted and I kind of knew what paper I was going to use. I think it's important to pick your image and paper at the same time or at least have a darned good idea of what paper you have. If you pick it out ahead of time, you can match your coloring to the paper. I know this isn't exactly newsworthy what I'm telling you, I'm just sayin'.....

By the time I finished the bookmark, I realized it was getting pretty big for a paperback book and I didn't want to make it any bulkier, so I didn't use the magnets, so I left it flat only attached it to the front of the card with the two spiral clips. I DID make the bookmark, so do I get half credit for CASE'ing Cathy's card? I'm not really asking. I'm just being silly.

Oh hey, don't you just LOVE this paper?? It's from Imaginisce. Let's Pretend collection, Sidewalk Chalk line. It may be discontinued, and in that case, I wish I had bought a ton more. It's loud and wild. Like someone I know.

I agree with Kim. It's gorgeous.

I actually like the paper behind the Sidewalk Chalk. What's that????

Because I need more patterned paper. Really.

You have been a busy blogger! Love the Cancun pic. So much fun. Look at all those copics and holy cow on your amazing prisma coloring of late. I adore the bookmark card. So clever to attach it with clips. The card that offers more than a card. I may have to case your idea :)
