Crafty weekend

I tried to post last night, but Blogger was being temperamental, and now I can't remember what I wanted to blog, so whatever. Yesterday I went to Ever After in Carlsbad and took a birthday rolodex class. It was really fun and the paper was really cool. We used Chatterbox paper. After that, I went home and worked on my jj creations for the month. I'm doing something different this month... I'm doing non-traditional card shapes for my designs. I hope Johanna likes them. Only three weeks left before we go on vacation. Seems like it took forever to get here. John and I are flying to Philly where we'll meet up with my siter and brother-in-law, and then we'll fly down to Jamaica. We're staying at Sandals Dunn's River. The four of us go on a vacation each year and this year Donna & Mike picked the place. It looks GORGEOUS and we can't wait to get there! After our week in Jamaica, we are going back to Philly and then we'll spend the next week with Donna and Mike at their house in Northampton. John and I plan to drive up to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. We've always wanted to see that. Tonight I finished up a swap. Ethel is the hostess of this swap. It's an altered CD holder and personalized CD inside. I did my favorite type of music: techno and trance. I hope it's not too weird for the other ladies. I entitled my disk, "Move" cuz that music makes you want to get up and move. It makes me want do dance, but maybe it will make them want to move OUT, I don't know. :) My niece, Dana, is working on some drawings for me. I was going to sketch today, but just didn't get around to it. What are the drawings for, you ask? Well, you will have to wait. That is a secret for now.

Very nice CD holder - I love the colors. And the bonus is an awesome "Music CD" that has some GREAT selections (maybe I'll get one for my Birthday).

Keep up the awesome creating.

Your vacation sounds awesome! ENJOY! And cool that you like techno and trance music. I love it. I hadn't really given it much thought but I went to an art gallery and they were playing some and it felt like it went inside of me and pressed the elevator button "up!" :-) Totally cool!
