I can remember "back in the day" when my parents would take us to Thrifty's, a drug store, and we'd get ice cream cones there. One scoop was 15 cents. Sometimes we'd get two scoops. Oh, happy day! Now I think one scoop is close to a dollar, but I'm not sure since I haven't been in Thrifty's for ice cream in ages and ages. Now there's Cold Stone Creamery, but I've never actually been there. Mr. Odd Bird Planet got me some yummy cherry ice cream one time, but that's the only time I've eaten from there. I'm not a big ice cream person, but my hubby is. Oh yes, he likes his ice cream every night. My absolute favorite flavor is vanilla. Not french vanilla or really vanilla or vanilla bean, just vanilla. What is your favorite flavor?
Oh, I guess I should tell you about today's comic, huh? This is Priscilla. She loves her some mice cream on a hot day, oh yeah. I think Priscilla would like mice cream on ANY day, actually. All images in this cartoon are by Odd Bird Planet.
Enjoy your week!

Eeeek... but I can imagine Priscilla LOVES this. Oh, the second mouse is upside down, fun detail!
te he he! I love this! Ice cream is the best! It makes the world a happier place! I love mint Oreo... oh so yummy!
ROFL. I love your mice cream cone. Priscilla looks real happy too.
My favorite? Coffee ice cream. Yummmm
Sadly, thrifty ice cream is now rite aid ice cream and it's over $1 per scoop. I'm with John, I love ice cream just about any flavor. We tried a new one this week that is a winner...root beer float. Yum. Love your new cartoon :)
Debbie, I just love your weekly comics and the running commentary you write to go along with them.
Oooohhhh I'm sure Priscilla is very happy with her Mice Cream cone. I know three kitties at my house who have been doing a lot of micing lately, but I'm not sure that they've discovered the summer pleasure of putting them in a cone.
Another great comic!
LOL! So funny!
Hahaha... mice cream... GREAT!
Fabulous idea!
OMG Debbie, Thrifty's Ice Cream is the best! We can still get it at Rite-Aid, but not for $.15!LOL I can remeber $.10 for a single and $.15 for a double....does that date me????
Enjoyed your post about it!
