Rest in Peace, Cheeto

No sign of the great orange one. I'm beginning to resign myself to life without Cheeto. That makes me so sad, I'm crying. He is my love bug. I miss him on my lap. I miss him on the bed. I just miss him. Gizmo and Frankie seem to be sticking very close to me now. As I type this, they are lying next to each other next to me on the couch. Frankie was always Cheeto's snuggle buddy, and now she is trying to snuggle Gizmo. He's not having much to do with that, but he is being tolerant. How do animals know? How do they know things are final? How do they know to just move on, that it's ok? Do they suffer loss of their housemates? I just hope no matter what has happened to Cheeto, that he did not suffer or have pain. Unlike my broken, painful heart right now. Rest in peace, Cheeto. I will always love you.

Oh my gosh, Debbie. I'm crying with you. I don't know what I'd do without one of my kitties and especially Tango who looks just like Cheeto. Orange terrors are just the biggest love bug.

I'm not giving up on Cheeto. I pray he'll come home soon and will have stories to tell Gizmo and Frankie.

I'm so sorry for you right now.

How sad!!!
I will share with you that I had one cat that disappeared for 3 months... We called it her 'wild teenager' years... granted, it was on a ranch and my bf was watching her while I was serving a detail many miles away... she split... he said he would see her every now and then near a creek...
One day, while I was visiting, I saw her... stopped the truck, called her and she came running up!
I hope the same for Mr. Cheeto...
kisses and hugs to Gizmo and Frankie and you...

This is very sad news. I also will be praying he turns up.

Brian is very concerned too. He refuses to accept that his penpal cat friend is gone.
